Warehouse Operative (Nights)

An opportunity has become available in Leicester for a Warehouse Operative (Nights), which will involve picking and transporting a wide range and variety of plastic materials within the warehouse. You will be loading customer orders and stock onto our company fleet ready for next day dispatch.

About the Role

• Ensure orders and materials are accurately picked and packed to a ‘right first time’ standard
• Pick & load completed orders onto company fleet
• Support the flow of work between the warehouse & production
• Carry out and adhere to stock rotation procedures
• Complete all paperwork and ensure goods are labelled correctly
• Carry out checks in line with the company quality control standards
• Operate counterbalance or reach truck as set out by HSE
• Adhere to company health & safety standards including best practice’s
• Keep working areas clean and tidy at all times
• May be required to shunt the vehicles in the yard as and when required

About You

• Reach FLT licence is an essential requirement for the position (please note you will be required to provide evidence of any licence)
• Counterbalance FLT, Driving Licence and HGV Shunting Licence would be highly advantageous, however not essential
• Able to manually handle a wide range of products and materials of different sizes and weights
• Able to work in a team as well as manage your own pick, pack and load deadlines
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
