As a Porter at our Brentwood Hospital, you’ll need to be a good communicator, as this role involves supporting team members and completing fabric tasks. It’s also essential that you’re happy to undergo our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, as part of your application.

The Person

To succeed as a Porter you will;

Be comfortable with a physical role which involves pushing beds and lifting heavy equipment.

Be a good communicator as part of your role will be ensuring that patients are feeling as relaxed and reassured prior to their surgery.

Comply with Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks if successful.
