Yard Materials Coordinator (Portlethen, Aberdeen)

In conjunction with the Yard Manager, establish and maintain a process of receiving and dispatching materials from the facility. Ensuring communication amongst all parties is maintained and information is continually passed to all stakeholders affected by the focused job activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Participate in regular compliance audits (safety, quality, environmental).
• Participate in regular customer stock checks.
• Being the focal point transport companies and logistics personnel.
• Control and co-ordinate the movement of traffic and materials being received in to the yard(s).
• Customer liaison on material movements, notifying receipts and collections.
• Raising order confirmations.
• Ensuring billing of the storage costs are maintained on a monthly basis.
• Maintains contact with all internal and external clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
• ERP system understanding.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good standard of high school education or equivalent (essential).

EXPERIENCE:

• Working experience in Oil and Gas industry (desirable).

SKILLS, TRAINING & SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE:

• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook) (essential).
• Excellent customer communication and inter-personal skills (essential).
