Production Operative/ Garments

Northern Diver (International) Ltd have been in business for over 40 years, we have created an innovative and highly regarded product range within the recreational, Commercial, Offshore, Water Rescue and Military diving sectors. We have recently opened a manufacturing facility in Appley Bridge, as a result we need to recruit Production Operatives.

Previous experience is not necessary - ***FULL TRAINING PROVIDED***

In this role you will support the workshop repairing and manufacturing diving suits to a very high standard for our customers in line with our quality assurance and productivity guidelines. Successful candidate should be keen to learn new skills.

· Competitive basic salary £21k+ per annum

· Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

· Holidays - 23 days + Bank Holidays (Closed for Christmas)

Key responsibilities would include:

· Helping in the alterations/repairs department

· Making alterations to wet suits/dry suits

· Repairing any damaged wet suits/dry suits

· Preparing materials for repairs

· Glue various materials together (neoprene, tri-laminate)

· Maintaining workshop in a tidy and safe condition

· Carrying out any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisory Technician
