Waste Operative

We are looking for several waste transfer pickers for our busy waste transfer station with immediate starts. ‘Can do’ attitude and for individuals who wish to grow within the company.

The roles are required for the expanding Nick Ferris Skips. Nick Ferris Skips is one of the main skip and Waste Management providers in Cornwall, owned and operated since 1985 by a Cornish family.

The company is rapidly expanding and require further staff to meet these demands.

You will be picking through waste wood, general rubbish, hardcore, soils etc etc, delivered in from local builders and other commercial businesses effectively separating all the waste streams that come into the transfer station via skips.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:45am to 5:00pm and rota basis for Saturdays 7:45am to

The role is a full time position based in Longdowns TR10 9DU., 28 days annual leave (inc. Bank Holidays)
