Position Overview & Specifications
Navis Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Fit Out Carpenter/Boatbuilder with an eye for detail and a pride in quality craftmanship to join an international motor yacht builder in Poole, Dorset.
This is a position with an ongoing contract.
We are looking for both interior and exterior Carpenters to produce luxury yachts alongside a highly skilled team.
Ideally, we are looking for experienced boatbuilders with at least 5 years in a similar role:
- Reading and interpreting drawings
- Fitting ply bulkheads
- Fitting cabins / boat interiors
- Fitting various fibreglass components
- Fitting a variety of boat furniture
- Fitting keels
- Skin fittings
- Some deck gear and teak deck installation
- Some window, portlight and hatch installation
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Work Location: In person
