About our Overseas Team

Due to continued exceptional growth, we are currently looking to recruit a passionate and ambitious Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our overseas team to help support the supply of white-collar professionals across the Construction, Civil Engineering and Rail sectors across Europe.

We have been working across Europe now for over 8 years and have a strong focus within the DACH region (D - Deutschland (Germany), A - Austria, CH - Confœderation Helvetica (Switzerland)). We do also supply clients across other countries and regions and predominantly work within the transportation, civil engineering & infrastructure, construction and energy & power sectors.

Our team is made up of talented recruitment experts who are specialists within their own fields. They are always willing to offer support and advise across the board and we have a very inclusive and collaborative approach to recruitment. We regularly travel in Europe to meet both our clients and professionals that we are working with.

The role of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant is varied and demanding. From day one you will join our Training Academy for the duration of 4 weeks where you will receive industry leading training delivered by our experienced in-house Trainer & Training Manager.

Key responsibilities for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Using sales, networking and business development techniques to attract business from client companies.
• Developing a good understanding of client companies and their business is key in order to build better, stronger relationships with client companies.
• Attracting candidates by using a wide range of means including using social media, seeking referrals, networking and utilising job boards
• Screening and interviewing candidates via the telephone - This is a very telephone intensive role
• Take a consultative approach to both your clients and candidates giving advice on salary levels, market knowledge and career opportunities.
