Telecommunications Engineer

Nano Fibre UK are looking for an experienced fibre broadband installation engineer for the Birmingham area to help support us as we scale. We are a fast growing company who is committed to offering the best customer service by our fibre broadband Engineers in the region You will be a current fibre broadband engineer in the industry with an extensive background in fibre installations and are looking for that next step in your career. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven individual to carry out last mile installations and support us in delivering our customer promise.

Key experience:

• Managing and resolving escalated and/or complex installation visits.
• You must have demonstrable experience and a proven track record working in a networking engineering environment.
• Fibre delivery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FTTP technologies.
• Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork and customer service.
• Should possess good logical skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and be willing to find the best customer solutions possible.
• Be able to manage any kind of technical work in the field.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Experience working on the Openreach network using PIA.

Requirements:

• Valid UK driver’s licence
• Excellent communication skills
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols
• Individual required to work alone, meet SLA KPI’ s set by client
• Able to work irregular hours and overtime to achieve deliverables
• Medically fit
• Willing to work in other locations within the UK if required (accommodation provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
