Tour Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

For our customers, creating memories and exploring the UK’s and Europe’s must-visit destinations on our holidays and day excursions is tremendously enhanced by our fantastic tour managers and drivers. Our team provide a friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable service on board our coaches, whilst serving an on-board drinks service and assisting our customers.

Following a particularly challenging period for the travel industry, we are now seeing a growth in demand from customers to explore again. Therefore, we are looking to grow our on-board team with passionate individuals with extensive knowledge and experience, to bring their personality and expertise to our tours.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Travelling the UK and Europe via coach is a fantastic opportunity. But it does require hard work and it certainly comes with responsibilities and high expectations. In addition to delivering excellent commentary and vital information about the tour, you will also be required to liaise with local suppliers to take care of small logistical information, such as delivering customer menu choices, updating arrival information or small alterations. You will need to provide an on-board drinks service to customers, from our on-board kitchenette. You will be required to act in a friendly and approachable manner to customers. It is so important to us that a personable service is delivered, whilst remaining professional at all times. The tour manager should be available to assist, should the customer need additional help.

IS THE ROLE RIGHT FOR YOU?

You must have fantastic geographically knowledge and always open to learning further destinations. You will need to be a naturally organised person, have great listening and questioning skills and be a natural with planning and execution. You will be required to deliver confident and articulate commentary and have the ability to adapt to the needs and tone of different customer groups.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rugeley: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
