An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 nursing assistant to work on Morris Ward, the all male acute mental health ward within Clock View Hospital

Morris Ward is a dynamic and challenging environment, with a hard-working and dedicated family of staff who strive to provide consistent, high standards of care to the diverse client base that we care for.

Future aims for Morris include therapeutic and psychological input for clients, this will be driven and provided by the staffing team so staff coming into this role will eventually be provided with additional training that you would not experience working in any of the other local division inpatient wards.

To carry out assigned duties, involving direct care and observation of service users under the guidance and indirect supervision of qualified staff.

To report to the qualified staff any observations made whilst providing care to service users activities and leisure, providing details of mental state and risk factors.

To work with service users on an individual and group basis as outlined in the care plan and as directed by the appropriate named lead professional.
