Location: within commutable distance to any UK Merlin Attraction

A job with Merlin isn’t like a job anywhere else. With attractions around the world, from rollercoasters to wax figures, we don’t trade in suits, handshakes or briefcases. We trade in fun. In smiles, shrieks and spine-tingles. In Memories. In magic. But there are no tricks behind our magic. Instead, there are people like you. Passionate, dedicated people who are committed to making sure our worldwide attractions and guests’ experiences are the best they can be.

Are you ready to join the Group eCommerce team and make a real impact on the online revenue channels across our Theme Parks and LEGOLAND Resorts globally? We're looking for a Digital Product Manager to lead the optimization and delivery of improvements to our websites, including our short breaks engine (ISO).

About the Role...

As a technical expert with a commercial mindset, you'll be responsible for defining the short and medium-term digital development strategy for our organisation's websites and supporting the long-term digital strategy development.

You'll be accountable for managing and delivering a 0–12-month product roadmap of improvements to our platforms and work collaboratively with eCommerce managers and technical development teams to maximize CX brand experience, sales conversion and transaction values. Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for functional optimization of our Short Breaks engine (ISO) ensuring conversions and customer experience KPIs are realised.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify optimisations and improvements to booking engine functionality, collect requirements and manage them through the development process.
  • Coordinate A/B testing programs within our short breaks booking platforms and support eCommerce managers to conduct pilots and tests to optimize sales conversion, product campaigns, user engagement, etc.
  • Become an expert on the ISO short breaks booking engine; document new and existing functionality and train ISO superusers within the business.
  • Ensure ecommerce teams are knowledgeable enough to use the booking engine to its maximum potential to achieve conversion and revenue goals.
  • Support the ISO administrators in user maintenance, rollout of new offers and promotions, and general maintenance of the system.

About You...

  • Substantial digital technology and digital product management experience ideally on a global, multi-country level with specialist understanding of e-commerce & guest journey optimization.
  • Proven track record of delivering quality digital improvements, enabling business capability and objectives through technology.
  • Trained to a high level using digital analytics and performance measuring tools (Google Analytics) and experience of leading A/B test (preferably in Google Optimize).
  • Good knowledge of digital industry and mobile/web product development.
  • Experience in some of our tech stack beneficial: Azure, Accesso, Umbraco, Salesforce, Google Tech suite, Power BI, MS Teams
  • Educated to degree level.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work across multiple teams to get things done and deliver results (including creativity in solving roadblocks).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Champion of the customer experience.

The Benefits…

We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects – ideal if you’re already fantastic and can quickly become even better (our magic can help here). Benefits include Pension, Life Assurance, discretionary company bonus, 25 days’ holiday and, of course, a Merlin Magic Pass which gives you and your friends and family free admission to all of our attractions worldwide, as well as 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% discount on LEGO.
