Biomedical Scientist - Histology - Swansea

The Biomedical Science team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for Band 5/6 Biomedical Scientist or Band 4 Associate Pratitioner in Histology to work in
a busy NHS Hospital in Swansea. The successful candidate will make a real difference in supporting the laboratory's cellular pathology service.

Duration: Ongoing

What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?
Working in histopathology laboratory, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy able to cut over 30 blocks and hour to a high standard; alongside responsibility with embedding and special stains.
On a day to day basis you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

Essential Requirements for this Biomedical Scientist position:

• HCPC registered
• Microtomy experience
• UK NHS or private sector experience
