Job Description

Due to our increasing events on our busy soft fruit farm in the picturesque village of Hints, a new and exciting opportunity is on the horizon.

We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic performers to play the role of our newly established Scarecrows on the Farm. Our Scarecrows will make appearances during our busy “Pick Your Own” summer season, perform at birthday parties and at our Seasonal events including Halloween, Christmas and Easter.

You will be interacting with children, adults and a diverse range of visiting groups and no two days will be the same.

Key Responsibilities

Performing in and around our public field spaces, poly tunnels and tipi.

Rehearsing for and performing in street theatre, staged performances and children's parties during peak and seasonal periods.

Working with families and children in our party field.

Welcoming customers at admissions in character.

Skills

Strong physical and improvisation acting skills will be required.

A team player.

Positive attitude.

Passion for performing and developing characters.

Bubbly personality.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Enjoy playing a variety of performing roles
