Position Overview & Specifications

Location: Manchester, Hybrid role (2 days a week in the office with 3 WFH)

Salary: £30k - £35k depending on experience.

Established in 1980’s and admitted to AIM in 2004, Malvern employs approximately 65 people and delivers a wide range of courses. Malvern’s growth strategy is driven by organic growth initiatives complemented by strategic acquisitions.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing digital marketing campaigns that drive growth and revenue for our business.

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be required to have a good understanding of HubSpot, website management, PPC, and SEO. You will work closely with our Head of Marketing as well as our marketing, sales, and wider teams to develop effective marketing strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, search, and display advertising.
  • Manage and optimise our HubSpot account, including data management, lead tracking, lead nurturing, and reporting.
  • Develop and implement automated email campaigns using Hubspot.
  • Manage the company website, ensuring that it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand identity.
  • Project management experience, ideally with experience in overseeing website build from start to finish, ensuring that projects are finished on time and within budget.
  • Work with our PPC specialist to develop and implement PPC campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and budget management.
  • Optimise website content and structure to improve SEO performance and increase organic traffic.
  • Analyse campaign performance and provide regular reporting on key metrics to the marketing and sales teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and tools, and make recommendations for new strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Overseeing social media content and strategy. Working with colleagues across business execution of this.
  • Whilst this role has a digital focus, carrying out general marketing activity will also be required.
  • Experience in web development preferred but not essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, web design or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success in managing campaigns.
  • Expertise in HubSpot, website management, PPC, and SEO.
  • Experience in managing social media campaigns and content across a range of different platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with marketing automation and email marketing.
  • Experience with Google Analytics. Knowledge of GA4 would be ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience in the education / English language schools / higher education sector would be ideal but not essential.
