Kitchen Porter – Maldron Hotel Glasgow City
Dalata Hotel Group are seeking a Kitchen Porter for an exciting opportunity within the Maldron Hotel Glasgow City
Maldron Hotel Glasgow City is a brand new and centrally located hotel in Glasgow offering impressive 4-star bedrooms, meeting facilities and our Grain & Grill Restaurant where you can enjoy flavoursome dishes prepared from fresh, local produce. Maldron Hotel Glasgow City is the perfect location for every occasion from a leisurely weekend getaway, a corporate stay for a business meeting to a city break with friends.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Head /Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
- Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen.
- Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
