Farming

At M C Blades & Son, we are looking for a dedicated team player to work on our modern indoor pig breeding unit. This is a new unit with up to date modern buildings and new machinery. We are a 1500 sow breeding unit taking pigs to 7kgs. The welfare of the pigs is highly important as we are a Red Tractor accredited producer.

Your daily tasks will be different every day but will include: carrying out routine feeding, bedding/cleaning out, day to day welfare tasks, pressure washing and various farm maintenance tasks.

To be successful in this role, you must be enthusiastic, willing to learn and also have a good personality to join in with the banter.

Experience is not essential as full training will be given.
