Position Overview & Specifications
Lullaby's Day Nursery is registered to care for children between the ages of 8 weeks to 8 years. We pride ourselves in delivering high quality childcare within the community. We believe that taking care of our staff is essential into making a successful nursery. We have a great opportunity for you to share our vision in creating a loving a caring atmosphere for the children in our care. We have established a growing clientele through our invaluable reputation and are looking for enthusiastic individual's to join our team.
We are looking to recruit 1 qualified Nursery Nurse who is qualified with a Diploma Level 2 or above in Children's Care Learning and Development (or equivalent) to join our ever expanding nursery.
We have two nursery's within close proximity of each other. The main Nursery is situated in Pontardawe and our second location in situated in Rhos Primary school. Ideal location can be discussed at interview stages.
Ideal candidates must be flexible to work Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:15-18:30. Set working days can be discussed in the interview.
Ideal candidates must have a full clean drivers licence and access to their own vehicle to assist in school pick up and drop offs.
Roles and responsibilities:-
- Prepare, care for, clean, maintain and respect the nursery playrooms and equipment.
- Be a good role model for students, volunteers and children
- Keep accurate daily records, accident, incident and more
- Supervise mealtimes and where appropriate prepare babies bottles
- Change nappies and assist with toileting
- Create and implement activity plans
- Create a loving and homely environment for the children in our care
