Role summary:

Due to continued business growth, we are now recruiting for a Commercial Partnerships Intern to be part of the Partnerships team on a 9-to-12 month internship starting in September 2023. Reporting into the Commercial Partnerships Manager this role is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to make a start in the commercial world of sport at a blue-chip rights holder. You will be fully integrated into the team and have the chance to participate in daily operations and assist on projects that have a real impact to the department and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative support across all commercial partnerships, monitoring internal processes & documents helping the team deliver best-in-class partnership management

· Attend client meetings from time-to-time, supporting the Partnership Managers gaining experience with some of the biggest brands in the industry while producing concise and quantifiable notes & action points

· Support the other members of the Partnerships team fulfilling data and insight requests for partners

· Develop a good understanding of client partnership objectives and how these differ during the year

· Support on creating presentations, post-event reports and other ad hoc documents

· Regularly update the Partnerships team on key industry trends and activities through a variety of research methods

About you

You should be someone who enjoys a rewarding challenge working in a team environment and someone who is prepared to go the extra mile whilst helping LME to deliver world class mass participation events.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following strengths:

· An excellent multi-tasker who has strong organisational skills

· Able to prioritise workload and manage time efficiently

· A positive and friendly ‘can-do attitude’

· Excellent attention to detail

· A basic understanding of the commercial side of sport and a desire to build a career in the industry

· Good degree of computer literacy with ability to use Microsoft and PowerPoint, Office 365

· Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business, including event weekends

· A customer first mindset

· A team player with a sense of fun!
