Head of Hair and Makeup

Full time, 12 Month FTC (potential to go Permanent)

Lime Pictures, home of the UK's most talked about television, is looking for a Head of Hair and Makeup to lead and develop our talented and experienced team based in Liverpool.

Our ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced TV Hair and Makeup Artist/Designer with a passion for keeping character looks fresh and relevant. The ability to lead, inspire and motivate a team is key. Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to work professionally and confidentially with artistes are essential, alongside strong experience and knowledge of storyline/script and production processes.

As Head of Hair and Makeup, you will work closely with the Executive Producer, Series Producer and Head of Costume to create on trend looks for our large and diverse cast, embracing the Hollyoaks creative vision of “A bolder, brighter life” whilst appealing to and inspiring the show’s audience. As well as being a key creative, this role comes with significant management responsibility for a team of staff and freelance Makeup Artists, and you will need to be able to effectively manage and work within an allocated budget.
