Legacy Strategies are currently recruiting for an experienced mobile Multi Trade Operative on behalf of one of our clients who run a very successful 24/7 Reactive Maintenance Company.

Must be CIS registered. This is a self employed role, although offering permanent work

They are looking for a mobile Multi Trade Operative who will cover Norwich, Ipswich and occasional travel into London. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to carry out repairs, maintenance and planned works to commercial properties for their blue-chip clients, who are major high street names in a safe manner and to a consistent high standard. Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken e.g., completing daily work sheets detailing work undertaken and materials used after each job. Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures and safe working practices are always adhered to.

Communication is key in this role; you must be able to work with up-to-date technology as their clients require them to use mobile apps for reporting purposes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry & joinery.

Due to nature of the role candidates must be flexible and reliable as the jobs dictate. Our client runs a 24/7 business and call outs could be outside normal working hours.

A vehicle will be supplied to the right candidate. They will also provide workwear (excluding trousers and boots), own hand tools will need to be provided. After the initial training period the successful candidate will be added to the on-call rota once a month. Our client is very busy, so there will be the option to pick up more work to earn extra when not on the rota.

The successful candidate will be on a one-month probation trial and will receive training where required to use all our clients Apps for their portals.

40 Hours per week with basic starting £32,500.00 before tax, however there is an abundance of paid overtime so you will be earning more than this - £45,000+ . Wages are paid weekly.

Wages will be reviewed after 6 Months and is dependent on the performance of the individual.

The applicant needs to be CIS registered and hold a full, UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points. Self Employed people are responsible for paying their own national insurance contributions and tax
