Position Overview & Specifications

Edubox is an education provider working with schools across the UK. We provide music, art and language tuition in primary and secondary schools. Our ethos is to provide fresh, fun and educational tuition using tutors who are experienced and can engage well with the students.

Edubox is looking for a new administrator and communications person and will deal with the following parts:

- communication with tutors, schools and parents (emailing, phone)

- timetabling and scheduling

- pricing up lessons

- invoicing

- chasing payments

- recruiting new team

- monthly follow up meetings

- dealing with parent/school queries

We are looking for an extremely organised, responsive, assertive person with a friendly but professional persona and a very good problem solver. They need to be confident and feel at ease on the phone and be familiar with outlook/mac mail, google drive and Xero (being a bonus).

The hours are flexible between 7-15 hours per week depending on how many schools we are involved with at a particular time. It can fluctuate. This role is suitable for someone who already works from home or needs part time work. Hours may increase as the business grows.

This position is a freelance position meaning the person will be self employed and will have responsibility for their own self assessment and taxes.

The person will need to keep an eye on things throughout the day and some evenings.

The person will need their own computer laptop. Edubox will provide a work phone. They can work from home.

The person is happy to agree 2 hours of training before the role officially begins.
