Retail Store Supervisor

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, driven and ambitious full-time Store Supervisor for our Finchley store to sell specialist decorating materials to trade and retail customers, candidates must be charismatic, driven to achieve ambitious sales targets and motivated to achieve the highest levels of customer service and store standards.

Your responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent service to customers.
• Opening and Closing the branch
• Cashing up and being responsible for the money in store
• Driving your team to deliver to the highest standards
• Promoting your branch and maintaining the availability of products
• Developing sales of specialist decorating materials.
• Maintaining the highest standard of store presentation and cleanliness.
• Any other duties that are reasonably requested to meet operational needs.

About you: As a Store Supervisor you will be trained to give the very best advice on which products our customers should be using on their decorating projects. Colour is key to any decorating project and you will have the confidence to give advice on colour schemes and will be trained on using our lightbox and spectrophotometer to ensure our customers find the colour they require.

To do this you will need:

• A passion for retail.
• Enthusiastic about selling
• Ability to up-sell and think on your feet
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to build a rapport with customers
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• A hands-on, fast-paced approach with a can-do attitude
• Smart in appearance
• Knowledge of a trade would be advantageous but not essential.
• Keen to learn and have an interest in our industry.
