Laundry Assistant

Lapal House is a beautiful residential care home set in extensive grounds in Lapal, Halesowen and provides a high quality of person-centred care and support to our 38 residents.

Join Lapal House as a part time Laundry Assistant working 5 hours per morning Monday to Friday.  The role of Laundry Assistant involves sorting, washing, drying, ironing all residents clothing and bedding. You will be responsible for the general cleaning of the laundry and day to day maintenance of machines.

The home is looking for someone who understands the importance of our residents having their clothes always kept clean and presentable to the highest standards. A understanding and kind nature is required, as you will have one to one dealings with the residents.

Lapal House is in a country lane with the nearest bus stop approximately 20 minutes walk.

DBS is required and two references if successful.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary: From £9.50 per hour
