Music Channel & Rights Management Executive

Laika Network (www.laikanetwork.com) is an online media business based in London, serving clients in all continents. We work with several international film/TV production houses and household names in the music/media industry like Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Nick Mason, The Bold and the Beautiful, etc. Our main work involves copyright protection across online video platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Tiktok.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Create videos from archived or existing video files using video editing software, upload videos to channels, optimize channels and videos, create playlists and drive subscribers to the channels.

2. Create images as per artwork specifications including the channel banner, channel icon and video thumbnails. This may include images required for Facebook, Twitter or any other social media website.

3. Use analytics to track results and determine best actions to improve online engagement and activity.

4. Manage YouTube disputes, ownership conflicts and takedowns in line with business process.

5. Provide consistent label and territory support.

6. Claim User Generated Content (UGC) and manage anti-piracy efforts across the internet.

Essential skills:

1. Passion for music and/or media industry in general.

2. Must work well within a team but also be able to work independently.

3. Good communication skills and ability to use Gmail and Skype.

4. Should be able to work remotely from home.

Desirable skills:

1. Beginner level of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

2. Beginner level of iMovie, Audacity, Photoshop, After Effects.

We will provide appropriate training for any missing skills. The job can be done from home.
