Warehouse Operative

Due to our continued growth and success we have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives in Luton.

We are looking for dynamic Warehouse Operatives to work as a part of our busy Warehouse team. We can offer excellent rates of pay, pension, healthcare cash back scheme and life assurance.

Back Shifts Available - 14.00-23.00. Monday to Friday – 9 hours per day. 1 hour unpaid lunch.

The main responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative include:

• Work within the Warehouse department managing the physical handling of clients’ goods – Heavy lifting will be involved.
• Loading and unloading and putting away of palletised goods in an accurate and efficient manner.
• Provide general assistance where necessary in the Warehouse / Transit Operations.
• Pick goods accurately and efficiently within any deadlines given.

The essential qualities of the applicants should include:

• The ability to demonstrate experience of warehouse work and trailer loading
• The ability to work to tight deadlines whilst prioritising H & S in the workplace
• Good time management
• Good standard of English/Maths
• Good communication skills
• Team work and co-operation
