Job Start Date: 1 July 2023 (negotiable)
Contract: Permanent, Part-time, Term Time Only + 5 days
Grade: £30,507- £32,878 pro-rata (actual £17,697 - £19,073)
Hours of Work: 25 hours per week
We are looking for a School Business Manager, to take on this key role, working alongside our existing administration team and the Headteacher.
The School Business Manager is responsible for the financial resource management, facilities and property management and health and safety management.
Tasks will include, but are not limited to:
· Preparing annual budget plans
· Managing school bank accounts and procurement cards
· Managing payroll, staff contracts and associated online records
· Managing Human Resources and recruitment
· Overseeing the implementation of health and safety systems
· Overseeing the safe maintenance and security of the school premises
· Sometimes working at the Reception answering calls and receiving visitors

The role begins in July 2023 (negotiable) and will be term time only for 25 hours per week.
This is a permanent Grade 10 post.
The successful candidate should:
· Be experienced in using a range of ICT systems and software
· Be highly competent with finance and data
· Have experience of line management
· Pay rigorous attention to correct procedures, presentation and detail
· Have highly developed interpersonal skills
· Although not essential, the successful candidate would ideally have a good knowledge of using financial planning software
