As an Electronic Technician, your main responsibilities would include:

To service, repair and refurbish lighting equipment and systems to the required standards of safety, functionality and presentation in the shortest possible timescales.

Duties:

• To undertake electronic repair and test of lighting systems, PCBs and ancillary equipment to the required standard of safety, functionality and presentation.
• To assemble and test, working from drawing or under instruction, new equipment to the required standard of safety, functionality and presentation.
• Work in a safe and considerate manner with regard for the health and safety of yourself and those around you, this includes caring for and wearing any required Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E).
• Maintain an understanding, in order that you can ensure compliance, of health and safety requirements as they apply to you and the departments or areas you are working in.
• Work under the direction of your supervisor/manager showing them a willingness to learn and being constantly driven to improving the quality of Products.

Experience Required for the Electronic Technician:

• Considerable previous experience in electronics repair down to component/PCB level
• Experience with LED’s and lighting systems would be an advantage, however not essential.
• A keen eye for attention to detail;
• Enthusiastic and career driven;
• A clear and focussed forward thinker.
