Position Overview & Specifications

A web design agency is looking for a talented and creative individual who will be responsible for working as part of a team with other like-minded people, managing complex web-based tools and software.

Key Duties

Take ownership of developing new features and writing and maintaining code
Deliver solutions against written business requirements and technical specification documents as directed
Investigate, analyse and document reported defects
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects
Create, document and implement unit test plans, scripts and test harnesses
Backend duties – Using Laravell frameworks – Manage user credentials and setting up user details.
Building new functionality for website both new business and existing clients.
Testing for bugs

About you

To be a Software Developer Apprentice you will need to be passionate about software development with 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9) including Maths and English.

This 23-month Apprenticeship has a salary of £17,000. You will also receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to increase your skills.

Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 4 qualifications in Software Development.
