Picture Framer / Gallery Assistant

Due to expansion we are recruiting for a picture framer to work in our busy gallery in Grimsby. As part of a small team your work will be varied, you will be involved in framing individual bespoke items for customers, you will also be working on wholesale orders which are supplied to our network of trade and commercial customers. The job will also entail face to face interaction whilst serving customers in the gallery.

We are looking for a team player with attention to detail and a good work ethic to succeed in this busy and rewarding role.

Main Responsilbilites:

Assembling frames to customers specifications

Mount Cutting, Glazing, fitting & finishing of Artwork

Operating of Framing equipment

Keeping the gallery clean & tidy at all times

Serving Customers

Key Skills:

High attention to detail, accuracy & precision

Excellent time Management

The ability to follow both defined procedures and instructions and work unsupervised

Confidence in using workshop machinery and hand held tools

A positive problem solving attitude

Work well under pressure
