Production Thrower

An opportunity has arisen for a thrower to join our wonderful and friendly small team here in our Wiltshire workshop, only 10 minutes from Salisbury City Centre.

John Julianis a high-end ceramics workshop that produces functional table and serve ware by hand throwing and jolleying.

We are currently expanding and looking for an additional thrower to work with porcelain and stoneware, with the ability to production throw to a high standard of consistency with our designs.

Requirements:

· Throw and turn on an electric wheel

· Attaching handles to Mugs and Jugs

· Work on the Jolley machine (training available)

· Fettle leather-hard ware

· Pack and unpack gas kilns

This is a full-time role, but we would consider part time for the right candidate.
