Position Overview & Specifications
We are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our team working 3,4 or 5 days a week.
We are a small family friendly nursery that takes great care in getting to know both our children and their families well to ensure we can provide the best possible care.
We require someone who is friendly, approachable, pro active and uses initiative well to ensure children's experiences follow their interests. Out the box thinking is welcomed to provide the children with new and exciting learning experiences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for children between 0-5 years and previous experience and knowledge of this age is welcomed although training will be provided. An SVQ3 or similar is essential for this role and further training will be required once in the post. A desire to undertake CPD in the childcare field is essential to keep you up to date with current knowledge. You will be required to register with the SSSC.
Being able to work as a team and on your own projects is essential along with having effective communication to ensure the nursery runs as smoothly as possible to ensure the children and families are invited into a calm and safe environment.
