Industrial Sewing Machinist

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced industrial sewing machinist to work for a growing family business based 15 minutes off the M5, near Cullompton. The company specialises in outdoor trampolines and indoor trampoline parks, and the role will require the candidate to produce various components to an exceptionally high standard, in line with the company’s reputation which is renowned for its quality and durability.

You will need recent experience of working with industrial sewing machines, and will need to be able to manage your time efficiently, work autonomously and meet deadlines.

You will be friendly, approachable and possess genuine enthusiasm and pride for your work. Nothing for you is too much trouble and you enjoy going the extra mile to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

The work can often be repetitive, but your patience and understanding enables you to deal with each task independently, offering the same high standards, attention to detail and quality throughout. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritise workloads in a busy environment.

We are a small, friendly, close knit team within a family business, so you will enjoy playing a pivotal role within that to ensure that each day runs as smoothly as possible.

The role is available on a flexible, part-time basis with varied hours of work. The office and warehouse is in a remote location with no public transport links, so you must have your own means of travelling.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous industrial sewing machine experience required
• Have exceptional communication skills
• Be flexible and possess high attention to detail
• Be able to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
• Experience of working with trampolines/trampoline parks advantageous!

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £14.00 per hour
