We established The JCB Medical Centre to support their health and, right now, we’re looking for a new Occupation Health Physician to join the team and play a vital role in making JCB a place where everyone can thrive.

Support our team face-to-face

Based at JCB in Rocester, you’ll join a small but growing team of Occupational Health professionals in a predominantly clinical role where you’ll monitor the health of team members sent to you by management referral and carry out routine health surveillance. You’ll also perform assessments relating to sensation, the vascular system and grip strength as part of the HAVS (Hand-Arm Vibration) tier 4 testing.

Providing face-to-face consultation for team members, you’ll be able to better judge reactions and pick up non-verbal communication that aids the consultation process. Building relationships with team members over time, you’ll provide true continuity of care and the kind of excellent patient experience that you would expect from JCB.

You’ll work full time (0830hrs – 1700hrs Monday to Thursday and 0830hrs – 1600hrs on Fridays), with one late start and late finish day (1130hrs – 2000hrs) per week.

Your background in Occupation Health

An experienced Occupational Health Physician, you’ll be qualified with a minimum Diploma in Occupational Medicine (DOccMed) and, ideally, be HAVS certified and have significant experience of Tier 4 testing. You might also have experience in Travel Medicine and pre-hospital emergency care such as BASICS, ALS, ATLS.

With a strong team focus, you’ll be able to work effectively with all your colleagues in supporting the department, and you’ll demonstrate the restless drive to improve that characterises JCB in everything you do.
