Islamic Aid is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team based in Walthamstow, London. The ideal candidate will have a qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design, along with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Additionally, we are looking for someone who demonstrates a creative and innovative approach to work, and possesses excellent research skills to successfully design aimed at Islamic Aid's diverse donor base. Experience or interest in UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Produce visually appealing and innovative designs, including graphically animated sequences, that effectively communicate Islamic Aid's mission and objectives.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure the successful marketing of products aimed at Islamic Aid's diverse donor base.
• Utilize specialist knowledge of graphic design software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, to create high-quality designs.
• Apply UI/UX design principles to create user-friendly and engaging digital interfaces for website and other online platforms.
• Display empathy with the aims, goals, and values of Islamic Aid and maintain a commitment to supporting the organization in achieving its objectives.
• Experience of producing designs from the concept stage, including storyboarding and presenting ideas creatively.
• Create graphic design assets for both print materials and online/social media channels.

Requirements:

• Qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in graphic design.
• Creative and innovative approach to work.
• Excellent research skills to successfully market products aimed at IR's diverse donor base.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills, including the ability to plan own work and establish monitoring systems.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to requests for briefs and deadlines.
• Co-operative and supportive team player, capable of working within cross-organizational teams.
• Specialist knowledge of using graphic design software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Empathy with the aims, goals, and values of Islamic Aid, with a commitment to supporting delivery to meet these.
• Experience in producing graphic design assets for print.
• Experience in producing graphic design assets for online and social media channels.
