About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Packaging Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the packaging store area including monitoring all stock and equipment in accordance with company policies.

Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off, 7pm - 7am (NIGHTS)

Your key responsibilities will include:

To undertake label printing via WLP2
Responsible for the stock count, reconciling differences and counting stock on the lines
Investigate Packaging waste and lost
WLP2 label confirmations and designs
Updating packaging KPI’s
Checking closed jobs to ensure packaging is allocated correctly

What are we looking for?

Experience of working in accordance with KPI’s
Previous experience of working in the Fresh Produce industry or within the Food Industry (desirable)
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and Flexible
Attention to detail – numerically and logically
Auditing skills
MHE License
BRC or Food Safety knowledge (desirable)
Knowledge of PR2 or similar system (desirable)
Intermediate Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft (desirable)
