As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking to recruit a Junior Interior Designer to join the design team.
We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing interior spaces, creating detailed plans and drawings, selecting furniture and fixtures, and working with clients to create a space that meets their needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the latest trends in interior design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and ideas
- Produce detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and specifications using CAD and other design software
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Participate in site visits, client meetings, and other project-related activities as required
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies
Qualifications:
- Higher Level qualification in Interior Design, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a design-related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and other design software
- Strong design skills, including an eye for detail, colour, and proportion
- Ability to produce detailed drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
