Trainee Accountant

Kernohan Distribution is a specialist distributor of electrical, heating, plumbing and ventilation products to trade customers across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and Scotland. We represent market-leading brands our customers know and trust, including AEG, Candy, HETA, Hoover, Schiedel and Villeroy & Boch. We also own and operate The AGA Shop Stove & Fire Centres in Belfast and Conlig.

Due to continued growth, we now have a requirement for a Trainee Accountant, to work as an integral part of the Finance Team at our Conlig, Co. Down, Head Office.

Reporting to the Finance & Commercial Director, you will be:

• A recent Accountancy or Finance Graduate;
• Or, an Accountancy or Finance Undergrduate, scheduled to graduate no later than June 2023,
• Or, a Part-Qualified Accountant, working towards full qualification.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with those around you;
• Computer literacy, with prior experience of Microsoft Office;
• Attention to detail;
• A professional attitude and excellent time management abilities;
• The right to work in the United Kingdom.
