Position Overview & Specifications

Customer Service Advisor - Temporary-Permanent

Our client based in Basildon are seeking an Customer Service Advisor to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent basis. The successful candidate will have good organisational skills and prior experience of sales order processing, inventory management and Customer services. If you have strong communication skills and are looking for an exciting new opportunity, then we would love to hear from you!

Duties:

Order management and fulfilment, order support and customer service-related tasks
Handle incoming requests, via phone and email, to ensure any issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly for the customer
Assist with customer queries through marketplace messages on Amazon and eBay and ensuring customers receive a response within the 24-hour response time limit
Dealing with Sales ledger invoicing using Sage Line 50
Stock management for 3PL warehouses
Work with the warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched timely and accurately
Produce appropriate management reports and KPI's as required

Experience Required:

Prior experience of sales order processing is essential
Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner and excellent literacy skills
Good organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and find the best customer outcome
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular Excel
Hardworking and a good team player
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude to work
Ability to type a minimum of 40 to 50 wpm

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a 30-minute lunch break
£12 per hour, weekly pay
Office based with free parking
