Drivers Mate

We are looking to recruit a Drivers Mate for multi-drop deliveries, for a food distribution company based in Bury St Edmunds. You will assist with loading vehicles from 6:30am to 8:00am, before heading out on the road from 8:00am onwards. This role involves some heavy lifting.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 6:30am start until finish (mid-afternoon)

Salary Range: £18,000 to £21,000 dependant on experience

Main duties will include:

• Loading orders onto vehicle
• Assisting the driver with deliveries
• Helping with the paperwork
• Adhering to health and safety regulations

Job Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role
• Good communication skills
