An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced high-volume food operator who has a passion for food to manage the kitchen at this amazing pub in Bexley Heath, Greater London.

The Role:

The site is a beautiful business located in the Bexley Heath.
Pub & Dining encapsulates the relaxed atmosphere of a suburban local pub.
This pub is a great meeting point for locals, walking groups and dog walkers.
Guests can enjoy a pint by the fire pit in the secret garden, the trade peaks in the warmer summer months because of the beautiful park location.
The trade is approx. 50/50 food to wet spilt.

Candidate:

As a Kitchen Manager, you will need to be able to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing team to control, develop and improve the food offering of the business including P&L, people, standards, legal compliance, service, and brand integrity.

Key responsibilities:

To manage and be responsible for the day-to-day kitchen operations of the business.
To manage the BOH team, and with the General Manager, manage the kitchen staff.
To oversee and manage the lunch and dinner services.
To open and close the Kitchen as required.
To oversee the completion of all duties involved in running the kitchen.
To control all operational costs and ensure financial budgets and targets are achieved.
To deal with all maintenance issues immediately and to a satisfactory resolution.
To apply all legal policies and requirements.
To always ensure the health & safety of all guests and staff.
