MSAT Molecular Development Scientist

Hobson Prior are looking for a MSAT Molecular Development Scientist to join a pharmaceutical establishment on a permanent basis located in London. Our Client is focused on developing potentially curative treatments for serious diseases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Simplify business processes and tools by identifying and testing opportunities.
• Developing and managing projects on an independent basis.
• Contribute to the development of Cell and Vector Engineering projects.
• Attend conferences on Cell and Gene Therapy to broaden your knowledge.
• Prepare SOPs and work instructions for use by the MSAT team.
• Research and develop ideas relating to cell and vector engineering.
• Maintain the laboratory by performing routine maintenance and cleaning

Requirements:

• Experience in the biotechnology industry with a PhD in a relevant field.
• An MS degree in biochemistry or biology or an equivalent degree.
• Understanding of cGMP, GLP, and compliance.
• Comprehend and apply biotechnology concepts, techniques, and principles.
• The ability to design experiments effectively.
• It would be advantageous if you had some experience in Cell Engineering.
• An understanding of qPCR, Western blots, and molecular cloning would be beneficial.
