QA Test Engineer

Seeking an accomplished QA Test Engineer looking to take their functional testing experience into non-functional & automation!

Experienced in manual testing, within an Agile / Scrum environment, working with Business Analysts, software developers & Scrum teams to write BDD; maintaining & executing test scripts?

Are you wanting to grow, learn & expand your career into the more technical aspects of software testing, with Python, Javascript & coding / scripting & have dabbled maybe, but never been given the chance to take it further?

Look no further – we have an experienced team, who are looking for a new team member to welcome onboard.

Salary: £40 - £45K Basic + Benefits package (25 days holiday, 5% pension matched, Health care, etc)

Location: Northampton. Hybrid work pattern: 2 - 3 days on average in the office; less if more remote, but we do like to build the team culture up in the early days, so “within a sensible distance of Northampton”, would be good.

Start date: ASAP.

You’ll be joining one of the 2 Scrum teams to be the owner of QA & testing functionality within your team – working on our state-of-the art Cloud based Software platform. Performing Testing on new feature development; executing, maintaining & extending testing scripts + working closely with the BA’s & wider product team.

You will also be working closely with the other QA Test Engineer & the Solutions Architect & Test Engineer Architect. In time, we would hope to develop your automation scripting skills to the level of designing your own frameworks & contributing heavily to the overall library test suite.
