Powder Coating Plant Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced powder coating plant manager to set up and run a brand-new state of the art powder coating plant. Based out of our site in Oldbury, West Midlands, this person will assume ultimate responsibility for this site & its operation. The main 20,000sq ft warehouse is being transformed with the installation of one of the most modern powder coating plants in the UK & the 1-acre yard will act as a storage and distribution for this plant.

This person will join us at the start of the 6-week installation to gain a full understanding of the plant from the outset. The successful candidate will be tasked with rapidly growing this operation as we aim to have of the best quality powder coating plants in the country, providing customers with incredible service.

Responsibilities Include

• Maintenance of the Powder Coating Plant.
• Packaging & Distribution of finished products.
• People Management including training & recruiting your own team of operatives.
• Maintaining site safety & security.
• Purchasing of required materials.
• Responsibility for the cost centres financial success.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in the running & management of similar plant.
• A focus on quality and driving efficiencies through improving processes.

• A focus on tracking data & using it to improve their teams & outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
