THE OPPORTUNITY
The Role
We're looking for a Professional Support Paralegal to join our Merges & Acquisitions team with an ideal start date of Monday 17 July.
- Assisting the Professional Support Lawyers in monitoring developments of law and practice
- Conducting research, using internet and other research tools
- Producing client and internal newsletters
- Being part of the team leading the digital transformation of our know-how support
- Helping to manage on-line library and legal know-how materials
- Assisting with the document management of precedents
- Distributing know-how materials to relevant members of the Group
- Administrative tasks
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, experience and qualifications
- Educated to at least degree level
- 2:1 grade (preferable but not essential)
- LPC (preferable but not essential)
- 6 months to a year’s work experience in an office based environment (preferable but not essential)
- Basic IT skills (in MS office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new IT skills and other database systems
- Experience in conducting internet searches and online research
