Senior Finance Manager FP&A

The Opportunity

HeliosX is looking to hire a commercially astute Senior Finance Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to help build a globally focused function. We are looking for an individual with a strategic mindset and a vision for the future, someone who has the presence in communication to develop partnerships that favour value driven decision making and delivery as HeliosX and its brands continue to grow. We are seeking an experienced candidate, motivated by the challenge helping to establish an FP&A function in an internationally scaling business. The Senior Finance Manager FP&A will take ownership of financial planning, working with HeliosX's VP of Finance and the leadership team to develop annual plans and financial models that steer us towards our goals.

This is a full time, permanent role. The successful candidate will have a hybrid working arrangement split between our Central London offices and working from home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building the components of the FP&A function, including budgeting, sensitivity/scenario analysis, agile reforecasting, and financial reporting at a leadership and departmental level.
• Delivering the financial planning cycle and producing coherent annual business plans in collaboration with stakeholders across the business.
• Creating and maintaining financial models from scratch with in-built regular reforecasting and analysis functionality.
• Accurately surface performance drivers and partner with stakeholders to identify and advise on commercial opportunities and risks, as well as resource allocation.
• Champion the business strategy internally and build strong relationships with budget holders and managers throughout the business; be the focal point for complex financial queries, providing reliable advice to stakeholders.
• Support the VP of Finance in leading and mentoring the Finance team, as well as providing training and guidance across the business on FP&A processes and best practice.

What you'll bring to HeliosX

• At least 4 years' experience in a commercial finance and/or consulting environment.
• Proven track record of cross functional collaboration and project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability in analytical disciplines, forecasting, and quantitative problem-solving, with the ability to communicate simply and candidly.
• Experience navigating ambiguity, and self-motivated to deliver autonomously.
• Strong functional understanding of data systems and tools.
• Prior experience acting in an advisory capacity on financial matters to senior business stakeholders.
• Relevant experience of working with an online direct to consumer (D2C) business model advantageous, though not a requirement
