Healthcare Assistant - Fertility - Harley Street, London - £25000 - £28500 per annum - Four day working week!

Currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join A Fantastic clinic located on Harley Street in London. The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team; to support the smooth running of the fertility and gynaecology clinic.

Healthcare Assistant Responsibilities:

Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature and pulse.

Collect specimens, label and despatch to the outside laboratory (including phlebotomy) as per clinic SOPs Administer medication and treatments

under the guidance of healthcare professionals.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Be competent in basic life support and assist calmly in an emergency situation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Perform venepuncture, interpret and give blood results when necessary
Follow infection control protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Assist with patient discharge and follow-up care.
Attend and participate in training and educational programs as required.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
Previous experience in a clinical setting.
Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Meditex (preferred).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of infection control procedures.
