Position Overview & Specifications

We have an exciting opportunity within the Next Ecommerce Content team as a Web

Content Coordinator. As part of this role, you will work across our Next UK, Next

International or Total Platform partners such as Reiss, Gap and Victoria's Secret to take change requests and growth opportunities requested from the wider business and help deliver them, ultimately improving the customer experience on site.

The content teams are responsible for updating and deploying new and exciting content across our family of websites & your day to day will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders, offshore teams and 3rd parties & using our various CMS applications to help deliver updates to our websites in a timely and efficient manner.

What we’re looking for is a truly motivated candidate who is passionate about fashion and willing to get their hands dirty and ultimately make their mark at one of the UKs biggest retailers.

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working at our head office in

Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely.

About the role

● Using our CMS to update our platform as per business requests.

● Deploying and editing new and exciting content daily across all website channels including next.co.uk, nextdirect.com and our total platform clients, including homepage and landing page updates, navigation updates, search banners and more.

● Liaising with our offshore team in India to ensure requests and issues are being resolved in a timely fashion.

● Managing website issues and requests from the wider department and business.

● Working closely with our Online Trade & QA teams to ensure all website changes and updates are signed-off and launched on time.

● Outside of this, you will also work closely with our development teams to help onboard new exciting content developments, while also helping deliver key seasonal activities such as Sales, New Collection launches and campaigns.

About you

● Experience in Ecommerce

● Previous experience in a similar role

● Strong communicator with a real team ethic and the ability to work under pressure

● A genuine interest in fashion retail and ecommerce.

● Highly motivated with capability to

● Adaptable to change and willing to support other team members when required.

● Good at breaking down problems and finding relevant solutions

● Available to work callout shifts every once in a while after the training period

● Excellent planning, attention to detail and organisational skills

● Experience updating online content using a CMS preferably CoreMedia.

● A good technical mind and general understanding of HTML, CSS & XML is desirable

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Google applications
