Property Fac Broker / Producer

A global insurance business is recruiting for an Investment Operations & Oversight Manager to be based in their London office.

Reporting to the Group Chief Investment Officer the successful candidate will be the main contact for all Investments & Treasury related matters across the global entities. This role is fully responsible (both internally and externally) for the oversight, monitoring and reporting of the investment portfolio as well as providing oversight and guidance for the local treasury function.

This will include oversight of Investment strategy/allocation to support various business areas and developing the process, policies and controls for the same, oversight on regulatory reporting requirements (both Solvency II and local regulators such as Lloyd’s, FCA, BMA, GFSC, MFSA etc), oversight on Cash Management & Treasury, liaising with auditors on all investments and cash (including bank account) related matters and maintaining procedures manuals & policies for areas of responsibility.

Applicants will ideally be degree educated and holding a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, CFA etc.), with at least 6+ years of investment management / oversight experience preferably gained within an insurance business, have a solid understanding of Financial markets and how they operate, have the ability to understand regulatory requirements and be comfortable managing stakeholders at all levels up to and including entity boards, non-executives as well as internal and external Investment managers in an inclusive collegiate manner.
