Delivery Driver

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team on a part time basis. As one of our Delivery Drivers you would be responsible for transporting beds and furniture to our customers in a timely and safe manner and will be representing our family run business at the final stage of the sales process.

Your responsibilities would be as follows:

Transporting beds and furniture from our warehouse to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

Representing harris beds in a friendly and helpful manner during deliveries.

Loading and Un-loading our van in preparation for deliveries.

Aiding our sales teams with heavy lifting and wrapping when required.

Unloading stock deliveries.

Basic warehouse housekeeping duties.

Skills required:

A full driver’s license is essential,

Clean driver’s license would be preferred, Competent and comfortable driving a Luton type van.

Fit, capable and comfortable lifting heavy goods.

Must be practical in nature and comfortable carrying out basic assembly tasks in customers’ homes.

Good communication and customer service skills.

You must be confident, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.

Desirable but not mandatory:

2 or more years’ experience in a delivery driver role.
