Construction/ Glazing Project Support

Halifax Glass is one of the leading glazing solution companies in the country - www.halifaxglass.co.uk.

Due to our expanding order book, we are looking to increase and strengthen our senior administrative team.

We are looking for an individual to fill this challenging and exciting key role who enjoys being part of a small professional and committed team, supporting our highly skilled customer facing installers, allowing them to deliver a bespoke exceptional service to all of our clients.

Experience in the glazing or construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.

On a day to day basis you will be working alongside the two business directors, as such you will need to be confident in interacting with colleagues at all levels, industry professionals, and clients .

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working in a fast paced and diverse office environment consistently deliver high levels of accuracy, while maintaining robust productivity rates, ensuring compliance with legal and H&S requirements within the glazing/construction industry.

Competency in ‘’Microsoft Office & Sage’ is essential as the majority of the work is computer based.

Primary tasks –

· The completion of Industry Method Statements and Risk Assessments (RAMs) forms for all projects (large & small).

· Liaising with external organisations to provide company installers with required ‘site’ permits and access, in a timely manner, thereby ensuring project timelines are not compromised.

· Completion and submission of O&M manuals to clients at the conclusion of a project.

· Preparing of ‘site’ files for installers (incorporating all relevant drawings, RAMS and any additional information required).

· Sourcing appropriate project materials at the most competitive prices.

· Maintaining accurate and up to date electronic project records
